Updated: 12 April 2008

The boys have started the season 1-1 with a tough loss against MV and a big win vs. Hull. Please check out our schedule page for our JV program games.

We will have our own Archbishop Williams Lacrosse Booster program. Coach Joyce and Coach McClay have worked with the school to start a combined boys and girls booster's club. We will work the concession stand, sell Archies Lacrosse apparel and help support the teams efforts for the year. If you are interested in volunteering please Click Here and send an email with your name, number and what you may be able to help the booster club with.

To All Players and Parents,

The school has a faculty member, who monitor's the campus ministry room from 3:00p-5:00p from Monday through Thursday after school.  The campus ministry room is set aside for students to do their homework. I strongly encourage your son to take advantage of this opportunity to get their homework done while they wait for their practice to start. I think it would be a great opportunity for them to learn "how to be a student-athlete", and properly budget their time.

I know some of the parents had some concerns about the late starting practice, so I thought I'd make you all aware of this opportunity. As I stated below, I really want to have the best GPA of any sports team at the school. We will see the results, if they take advantage of this.

If you have any questions, concerns, or comments. I am available at any of the #'s I listed below.

PARENTS:

We will only be successful with your support on, and off the field. I need to know how your son is doing, not just at lacrosse, but in school. If he has an issue, please let me know. I can only help if I know about it.
I need volunteers for the following.

  • (2) Snack bar for home games only.
  • (1) Score keeper or time keeper for home games only
  • (1) Apparel table, new this year. We will have T-shirts, hoodies, blankets, and other items for sale at home games.
  • TEAM MANAGER I really need help here!!! This "job" requires you to contact the newspapers with the scores, and contact parents and players with any changes in schedules.
  • (?) End lines. I would like siblings of the players who have lacrosse helmets to work the end lines chasing balls, when they go out of bounds.
  • WATER. We would like to have gallon jugs of water donated for the games. Especially away games.

BEHAVIOR OF PLAYERS:

  • Under NO circumstance will fighting be allowed. Not in games, practices or in the parking lots.
  • Respect all players at tryouts, practices, and games. If you have an issue, come to me! I will resolve it.
  • Foul language is not tolerated! I have youth players at games, and practices helping out. Set an example.
  • I do not tolerate cigarettes, chewing tobacco, drugs, or alcohol. If I see it, you are off the team. 0 tolerance on this issue!
  • I take attendance, if you have any reason YOU can not be at practice. YOU have to let me know, not your friend on the team. Your attendance will affect your playing time.

We have a new assistant this year Brian Donovan his email is dunnie235@yahoo.com.net
